La Finca golf course is situated at the foot of Mount Escotera, in the heart of the Segura region of Orihuela. Designed to host top tournaments, La Finca golf course has the greatest variety of greens of any course on the Costa Blanca; ranging in size from very large, to very small. La Finca has quickly become THE course on the Costa Blanca to play. The several lakes, streams and reed beds throughout the course add to the beauty as well as the difficulty of the holes. On the 5th you must hit the ball onto an island green and the 17 th is protected by a large lake. La Finca costs a little more than other courses in the area but the experience makes it well worth while.

La Marquesa Golf Club is located in Cuidad Quesada, close to the resort of Torrevieja, in an area that nature seems to have created a ready made layout for a golf course. Set in low lying land the gently rolling slopes that lend themselves to the design of a very fine golf course. The greatest challenge of the La Marquesa course comes from the complicated undulations of each of the 18 greens.

Real Club de Golf Campoamor, built on a former country estate and surrounded by beautiful unspoilt countryside, was designed to take advantage of the unusual terrain of the area. In two valleys with magnificent views, the front nine at Campoamor are fairly open, but fast, well protected greens are just waiting to catch the unwary. The back nine holes are an altogether more demanding proposition as they wind down through the steep sided hills. Very enjoyable golf.

El Plantio is the only golf club on the Costa Blanca with two courses, one of 18 holes par 72 and one of 9 holes. Uniquely, this course has no holiday housing around and gives a feeling of total peace and tranquillity. The par 72 course has a new and daring design that challenges all players, regardless of their handicap, and a par 3 that will delight most players and help them to improve their short game. During the summer of 2006 the 3 rd hole was re sited and re-constructed and a waterfall that flows into 2 lakes has been built in order to enhance the surroundings and ass to the golfers enjoyment.

Las Ramblas is located 40 minutes south of Alicante, 30 minutes from the city of Murcia, and only 5 minutes drive from the fabulous beaches of Orihuela Costa. The Las Ramblas golf course is set in mountainous terrain between two ravines by the shores of the Mediterranean. Its location and layout makes the course very interesting for players who like to take a few risks and requires accuracy throughout as both fairways and greens are narrow and demanding. The Las Ramblas golf course is populated with enough trees to enhance the scenery, provide shade and add obstacles to recording good scores.

Alicante golf course is one of a number of excellent courses designed by Severiano Ballesteros. Many of the characteristics and features that Seve has used in the design have resulted from his exposure to international trends that ensure golf course designs benefit the surrounding environment. Each of its very balanced legs feature three par 3 holes, three par 4, and three par 5’s. Alicante stands out for its long tees and wide fairways, as well as its beautiful park areas and its splendid lakes.

Founded in 1972, Villamartin has grown in fame to become one of the most popular & highly esteemed golf courses in Spain. In 1994 it hosted the Mediterranean open, & many other competitions take place both pro am & amateur. The course, with its own clubhouse, is well designed green & lush, as is the picturesque countryside surrounding it.

The Villamartin golf course is dotted with thick woods and bushes made up of pines, cypresses, olives, rosebays and many other varieties. The greens receive the ball well and, although not treacherous, need careful reading in order to score well.
